Therapy Services

  • Individual sessions are 50 minutes in length and focus on your needs, concerns, and goals. You and your therapist will work collaboratively to develop a treatment plan that supports growth and can be adjusted as your needs evolve. Individual therapy provides a confidential space to explore challenges, gain insight, develop coping skills, and create lasting positive change.

  • Couples sessions are 50 - 90 minutes in length and provide a supportive space to better understand and address patterns and cycles that may be contributing to conflict, disconnection, or challenges in your relationship. Common topics addressed in couples therapy include: recurring conflict, breaches of trust, intimacy or sexual challenges, past resentments, or life transitions. Couples therapy is recommended for couples who are experiencing specific concerns that are impacting their relationship. For couples interested in strengthening their relationship, see our Relationship Wellness offerings.

  • Family sessions are 50 - 90 minutes in length and provide a supportive space for improving communication, understanding patterns within relationships, and addressing challenges that may be impacting connection and functioning. Family therapy is not limited to traditional household structures and may include immediate family members, siblings, parent–adult child relationships, or other meaningful relationships such as close friends who wish to work through relational concerns together.

This work can support relationships experiencing conflict, life transitions, boundary challenges, grief and loss, caregiving stress, or ongoing relational strain. Family therapy is available for adolescents (13+) and adults.

  • We have options for partners who are looking to improve your relationship but are not experiencing a specific issue or conflict. There are two focuses of these structured session packages: navigating new life transitions together, and a relationship check-up for established partnerships. The Therapy Process

Consultation & Intake

Therapy begins with a brief 15-20 minute phone call to assess for fit between client and therapist, followed by a 50 - 90 minute intake session where the therapist gathers background information, history, current symptoms, and reason for seeking therapy.

Assessment & Goals

Initial therapy sessions will focus on exploring current challenges for you or your partnership. You and your therapist will identify what needs to address and collaboratively set both short-term and long-term goals to work towards.

Working Phase

As therapy progresses, the work deepens to understand how you think, feel, and connect with others. Moving beyond immediate concerns, your therapist and you will work on understanding the origin of patterns, process emotional pain, build healthier boundaries, and begin to shift long-standing beliefs about yourself and your relationships.

Maintenance

Session focus shifts from deepening insight to applying what you’ve learned in your daily life and relationships. This phase supports you in strengthening new patterns, maintaining emotional awareness, and navigating challenges with greater confidence and flexibility. Some clients choose to continue with periodic check-ins, while others may decide to conclude therapy when they feel ready, with the option to return as needed in the future.
