Cash rates vary based on a clinician’s modality, training, and experience. Individual therapy rates range from $120 - $180. Couples and family therapy rates vary from $150 - $200. Each therapist provides their fee and insurance information on their bio page. Many of us provide sliding scale options on a case by case basis.
Intensives are a bundled cost and are not eligible for insurance. Visit Relationship Intensives for more information.

Yes. Aspen Therapy is in-network with Aetna, Cigna, Optum, and United Healthcare HMO and PPO plans. We also offer sliding scale and self-pay rates for clients whose insurance isn't accepted or who prefer to pay out of pocket.
Copays vary depending on your specific coverage, but our fantastic billing team can run a benefits check prior to your first session.

We offer sliding scale rates and below-market cash-pay pricing for clients whose insurance isn't in-network with us. We also offer sliding scale and self-pay rates for clients whose insurance isn't accepted or who prefer to pay out of pocket.

If you have a PPO plan, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement through your insurance's out-of-network benefits.
You pay for your session directly at the time of service. We then provide you with a superbill, an itemized receipt with the information your insurance company needs, which you submit to your insurer for reimbursement. Many PPO plans reimburse a percentage of session costs once you've met your deductible, though this varies by plan.
-
It depends on your specific plan. We recommend calling the number on the back of your insurance card and asking:
Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
What percentage of the session fee is reimbursed?
Do I have a deductible, and has it been met?
Is there a limit on the number of sessions covered per year?
-
We require a card on file (credit, debit, or HSA/FSA) that will be charged at the end of your session. We do not accept cash or check due to the nature of telehealth.
